A Humboldt man was injured in a one-vehicle accdient north of Brazilton on K-3 highway late Friday night in Crawford County.

A Humboldt man was injured in a one-vehicle accdient north of Brazilton on K-3 highway late Friday night in Crawford County.

According to the Crawford County Sheriff’s department, Mitchell Dewey, 22, of Humboldt, was injured when his vehicle was in a ditch 1/10th of a mile north of 670th Ave. on K-3.

Dewey told deputies that he was driving his 2004 Saturn Ion south on K-3 when he blacked out. When he awoke, he found his car in the west ditch of the roadway.

Dewey was transported by Crawford County EMS to Girard Medical Center and treated for minor injuries.

Deputies reported that Dewey was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.

The accident remains under investigation by the Crawford County Sheriff’s department.
