Girard area Easter egg hunt will be held at 10 a.m. April 4 on the Crawford County Courthouse lawn.

Girard area Easter egg hunt will be held at 10 a.m. April 4 on the Crawford County Courthouse lawn.
The lawn will be divided into four sections, each designated for a specific age group. Girard Fire Department will sound a siren to begin the hunt. Several Girard area churches will offer “The Blessing of the Children” from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the gazebo.
Large prizes will be awarded at 10:30 a.m. from the gazebo. Also after 10:30 a.m., photos with the Easter Bunny will be available at Sonic Drive In.
Girard High School Kayettes will fill eggs for the event and assist in distributing them on the lawn.
Donations are needed by April 2 to assist with the event, including money, prize eggs, individually wrapped candy and large prizes such as stuffed animals, Easter baskets, etc. Checks should be made to Easter Egg Hunt, Girard Events Committee, P.O.
