The Frontenac Wrestling Club will be sending seven members to the Kansas Youth Wrestling State Tournament this weekend at the Kansas Expocentre in Topeka.

The Frontenac Wrestling Club will be sending seven members to the Kansas Youth Wrestling State Tournament this weekend at the Kansas Expocentre in Topeka.
Those seven qualified after placing in the top four in their respective weight classes at the District Tournament last weekend, also in Topeka.
Of those seven, three captured district titles including Zach Sharp, who went 3-0 overall to win the 8 under 125 title.
Brandon Mlekus finished his bracket with a 3-0 mark and won the district title at 10 under 76.
At 12 under 88, Zak Hensley also finished 3-0 to earn the district crown.
Tyler Hensley finished 2-1 and took second place at 12 under 76 and Jacob Durossette also went 2-1 and finished second at 12 under 110.
Kylan Dixon is the seventh qualifier from the FWC after going 2-2 and finishing fourth in the District Tournament at 12 under 140.
The State Tournament begins on Saturday and runs through Sunday at Topeka.
