Senior Citizens Club
Senior Citizens Club will meet at 1:30 p.m. in Lincoln Center to celebrate March birthdays and play bingo.
Entertainment will be provided by the Keenagers, a singing group composed of senior citizens.
New members are always welcome in the club. There is a 5-cent fee per meeting. Anyone needing additional information about the group may call the Pittsburg Parks and Recreation Department at 231-310.
Scammon fish fry
SCAMMON — Knights of Columbus Council No. 3316 will sponsor its annual fish fry at 6 p.m. in St. Bridget’s Parish Hall, Scammon.
A variety of dinners will be available, including those featuring cod or catfish, shrimp, baked potato or wild rice, German or creamy coleslaw, clam chowder and grilled cheese sandwiches. All dinners come with coffee or iced tea. Children 6 and younger will eat free. Carry-outs will be welcome.
A fish fry will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 718 N. Broadway. Catfish or cod dinners will be served, with a choice of side dishes. Dine-in and carry-outs will be available.
Cost will be $7 for adults and $4 for children. Fish fries will be held every Friday during Lent except Good Friday.
Pittsburg American Legion Post 64 will host bingo night, open to the public, at 6:30 p.m. at the post home, 2815 N. Broadway.
Canteen will open at 5:30 p.m. and feature burgers, chicken strips and grilled cheese sandwiches.
