Lynn Jenkins’ job fair last week at Memorial Auditorium was a joke. It was nothing more than a Republican campaign stop on her bid for re-election. She is supported by her PACs who are in the check-cashers business who prey on the destitute and marginalized and impoverished of our society.

If Lynn Jenkins really wanted to lower the unemployment rate in SEK, which by the way, by her own admission, is one of the highest in the state of Kansas, why does she and her fellow Republicans obstruct the passage of the American Fair Jobs Bill, which has been sitting in committee since being indroduced by Obama and the Democrats.

The reason is that she is a do-nothing-obstructionist Republican bent on embarrassing Obama in the upcoming general election Nov. 6.

So, my advice to you, Lynn Jenikins and all your fellow stonewalling, obstructionist, do-nothing, naysaying, whining fellow Republicans, is to take your little “dog and pony show” on down the road to your next stop, because the people of Crawford County have seen it before.

Sincerely,
Joseph Pelnik, Pittsburg
