Lucinda J. (Cindy) Hudson, 83 of Pittsburg, KS died at 10:20am, at Medicalodge South Nursing Home in Pittsburg, KS.
She was born June 2, 1924 in Crawford County, KS to Thomas H. and Martha (Buffington) Sells. She attended area schools.
On November 16, 1940, in Crawford County, she married Robert Hudson. He preceded her in death on February 28, 1991.
Cindy was a member of the Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Pittsburg. She volunteered in the construction of Kingdom Hall Quick Builds and also participated in a volunteer Bible educational work being done in 235 lands worldwide.
She is survived by her sons, David Hudson of Riverton, KS and Mark Hudson of Pittsburg, KS; daughters, Roberta Gillette of Pittsburg, Deborah Marlier of Topeka, KS, Barbara Thurmond of Clarkston, MI and Rebecca Hudson of the home; along with 22 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Hudson; 2 sons, James and Matthew Hudson; four sisters Irene Hudson, Pansy Johnson, Grace Divine and Vesta Riggerio; one brother, Jess Sells.
Funeral services will be 2:30pm, Monday, April 28, 2008 at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home with David Richter officiating. Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery in Beulah, KS.
