Richard L. Penor Sr. (Rich) of Rural Pittsburg, Kansas, died 7:20 a.m. Thursday October 21, 2010 at K.U. Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

He was born September 8th, 1949 in Bremerton, Washington to Earl Lloyd Penor Sr. and Maxine Shirley (Sizer) Penor. He married Connie Kay Melton in Port Orchard, Washington December 25th, 1968. They ran and owned Bremerton Auto Wrecking in Port Orchard Washington.

Retired and moved to Chicopee south of Pittsburg, Kansas in 2000.

He is survived by Wife Connie Kay Penor of the Home and a Son Richard L. Penor Jr. and Wife Debbie Penor, of Idaho and three Grandchildren: Ruby, Mason and Rock Penor.

One Brother Earl Lloyd Penor Jr. (Butch) and his wife Bernice, of Benton City Washington, One Sister Denise Dawson of Port Orchard Washington. In-laws Theresa and Dean Hamblin of Weir Kansas, Linda and Carl Crocker of Chetopa, Kansas and David and Karen Melton of Skidmore, Mo. and several Nieces and Nephews.

Proceeded in death by a Niece Deana Penor and his Mother and Father, in-laws Murel and Helen Darline Melton. Cremation was done in Kansas City by the KC Funeral Directors, Inc.

Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday Oct. 30th in Pittsburg, Kansas, By Bishop  Wilde @ the Church of Latter-day Saints, 1507 South Rouse, Pittsburg, KS. 66762.
