Green Tea Cooler

Pour 1 ounce of Zen Green Tea, 1/4 ounce of citrus vodka and 1/2 ounce of lime juice in a highball glass. Add lemon-lime soda to fill. Add ice and garnish.

2 cups milk


2 tea bags, black


3 tablespoons brown sugar


Heat milk and sugar together in a saucepan, almost to boiling. Remove from heat and add tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and serve. Serves two.


Almond Stuffed Apples

4 tablespoons brewed Tetley Classic Blend Tea


1/2 cup toasted almonds1/2 cups sugar


8 medium baking apples, cored


Melted butter


4 bread slices blended into crumbs


1 cup heavy cream, whipped


In blender, grind almonds 10 seconds. Empty onto waxed paper. Add tea, 1/2 teaspoon almond extract, 1/2 cup sugar and almond extract, and blend 10 seconds. Add ground almonds and blend 40 seconds, stopping once or twice to push ingredients to blades. Fill centers of apples with almond paste. Roll apples in melted butter, then in bread crumbs and finally in the rest of the sugar. Place in shallow, buttered baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until tender. Serve with whipped cream. Serves eight.
