Coming off a 15-strikeout performance against Baxter Springs last week, Southeast’s Zach Dainty was not done.

This time it was the offense where Dainty did his damage as he connected with two doubles and a two-run home run to pace the Lancers to a 16-2 and 10-7 sweep of Erie on Monday night at Erie.

In the first game, starter Dalton Powell, along with Dainty hit two doubles apiece to lead the Lancers as Powell also held the Red Devils to just two runs on two hits.

In the second game, Dainty smacked a two-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to cap a six-run inning as Southeast got past the Red Devils to earn the sweep.

Powell also collected two doubles in the second game to bring is series double total to four on the night.
