Tina Louise (Johnston) Clemons, age 46, of Duenweg, passed away Monday, July 28, 2008, at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin following a courageous battle with cancer.

Tina Louise (Johnston) Clemons, age 46, of Duenweg, passed away Monday, July 28, 2008, at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin following a courageous battle with cancer.
Tina was born January 5, 1962, in Lamar, to Gailand and Evelyn (Loveall) Johnston.  While growing up, she was active in 4-H and Saddle Club, and enjoyed softball, horseback riding and rodeo.  Tina graduated from Lamar High School in 1980 and had worked at Casey’s and Sun Container.   In addition to being a homemaker, Tina was a production worker at Morton Booth Furniture Factory in Webb City for many years.
On March 23, 1998, at Joplin, Tina married Donnie Clemons, and he survives of the home.  Also surviving are her daughter, Randie McDonald, Joplin; a step-son, Brandon Clemons, Sarcoxie; her parents, Gailand & Evelyn Johnston, Lamar; mother-in-law, Margie McGhee, Duenweg; a brother and sister-in-law, Gailand & Bonnie Johnston, Lamar; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Patty Ihm, Lamar, and Lisa & Randy McAtee, Girard, Kansas; and a large extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 31st at Daniel Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday evening.  Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Lamar.
