Screenings will target potential cardiovascular conditions that are risk factors for strokes, including blocked arteries and irregular heart rhythm, abdominal aortic aneurysms and hardening of the arteries in the legs, which is a strong predictor of heart disease.

A bone density screening to assess osteoporosis risk will also be offered, and is appropriate for both men and women.

The ultrasound screenings are fast, noninvasive and painless. It takes from 60 to 90 minutes to complete all five screenings. Cost for screening packages starts at $149.

Pre-registration is required. Anyone needing additional information or wishing to schedule an appointment may call 1-877-237-1287 or visit the web site at www.lifelinescreening.com.
