Menus for Pittsburg USD 250 and Senior Services

Pittsburg
Pittsburg Community Schools USD 250 will serve free breakfast and lunch meals for children aged 1-18 during the week of July 28 at Westside Elementary School and Pittsburg Community Middle School.
This will be the last week of the summer food program. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at Westside and PCMS, and 7:30 to 8 a.m. Lunch will be from 11 a.m. to noon at Westside and from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at PCMS.
Adults may also eat at a cost of $1.75 for breakfast and $3.25 for lunch.
All meals will be served with milk. Breakfast menus will be as follows:
MONDAY
Cereal, juice.
TUESDAY
Biscuits and gravy, juice.
WEDNESDAY
Pop Tarts, juice.
THURSDAY
Pancake on a stick, juice.
FRIDAY
Breakfast burrito, juice.
Lunch menus will be as follows:
MONDAY
Hot dog on bun, pork and beans, mixed vegetables, sliced pears.
TUESDAY
Pizza burger, tater bucks, green beans, fruit cocktail.
WEDNESDAY
Pizza choice of cheese, pepperoni or sausage, tossed salad, corn, sliced peaches.
THURSDAY
Peanut butter and jelly, mozzarella cheese stick, Sun Chips, veggie sticks with dip, rosy applesauce.
FRIDAY
Chicken sandwich, French fries, peas, fresh fruit.

Senior Services
Senior Services Nutrition Center, 3003 N. Joplin, serves lunchtime meals open to any person 60 or older.
Participants are asked to make reservations for lunch one day in advance. A donation of $2 per meal is suggested.
Menus for the week beginning July 28 will be as follows:
MONDAY
Swiss steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots, lemon pudding, bread.
TUESDAY
Sweet and sour chicken over rice, mixed vegetables, blushing pears, bread.
WEDNESDAY
Ham with cranberry glaze, sweet potatoes, green beans, cinnamon apples, bread.
THURSDAY
Sloppy joe, bun, peas, potato salad, cherry crisp.
FRIDAY
Hoppin’ john, coleslaw, cornbread, mixed fruit.
