  • On Thursday, the Crawford County Drug Task Force simultaneously executed two separate drug search warrants at the addresses of 311 and 314 W. First St.

  • On Thursday, the Crawford County Drug Task Force simultaneously executed two separate drug search warrants at the addresses of 311 and 314 W. First St.
    At 311 W. First St., the residence of Jennifer Hilton, 22, three subjects were taken into custody without incident.
    Hilton and Amber Dawn Burdick, 22, were each charged with cultivation of marijuana, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Their bonds were set at $12,500. Dustin A. Brooks, 22, was booked on possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $2,000.
    Two subjects were taken into custody at 314 W. First St., the residence of Sara S. Benner, 19, along with a 10-month-old infant. Benner was charged with possession of marijuana, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and child endangerment. Her bond was set at $2,500. Anthony D. Winkfield, 25, was charged with possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $2,000.
    The 10-month-old infant was taken into protective custody for child endangerment and the incident will be referred to SRS.
    The incident is still under investigation.
    The Crawford County Drug Task Force, which consists of members of the Pittsburg Police Department, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department and the Pittsburg State University Police Department, encourages all members of the community to report any criminal or suspicious activity.
