  • Louise Marshall, age 78 of Waco, MO, passed away at her home 7:37 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013.
    Born July 13, 1934 in Cedar County, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late George Burmester and Loretta Willhoite Burmester. She went to Grade School in Jerico Springs and graduated from high school in Stockton, MO. Louise worked at Elder Mfg. in Webb City and Carl Junction and National Mills in Webb City and Pittsburg, KS. Her hobbies included fishing, quilting and cross-stitching. She was active in the I.C.I. Retirees.
    On January 19, 1952 she married Kenneth E. Marshall at Harrison, AR. He preceded her in death November 30, 1995. She and Kenneth lived in Waco since 1957.
    Survivors include two sons, Dwain Marshall and wife Shelly of ElDorado, MO, Terry Marshall and wife Brenda of Ozark, MO; two daughters, Trish Oehme and husband Tim of Pittsburg, KS, Sandy Wintjen and husband Gary of Waco; brother, Pete Burmester and wife Jo of Nevada, MO; sister, DeEtta Berning of Lamar, MO; ten grandchildren, Scott Marshall and wife Heather, Joey Marshall, Kori Thomas and husband Rob, Travis Marshall, Crystal Marshall, Dustin Oehme and wife Erica, Dustin Oehme, Kristen Oehme,  Garrick Wintjen, Drew Wintjen, Taylor Mitchell and husband Bruce; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Parker Chapel with Rev. Bob Simon officiating. Graveside services will be held 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at Brasher Cemetery in Jerico Springs. Grandsons serving as pallbearers will be Scott, Joey and Travis Marshall, Dustin Oehme, Garrick and Drew Wintjen. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Parker Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association of Southwest Missouri or American Cancer Society, in care of the mortuary.
