My son went missing 11/24/12, was found 11/26/12, and through the efforts of many people, was laid to rest 12/13/12. I would like to thank The Morning Sun for their coverage of my son’s story. I would also like to thank Nikki Patrick for her story of the PSU Social Work Plus Club and bringing this forward to the community. Thank you to the Pittsburg Police, Pittsburg Fire, Frontenac Fire Departments, and Newton County for the long hours of searching. Thank you Det. Rebekah Lynch for your kindness. Thank you to the PSU Social Work Plus Club for the fundraising which allowed the burial to take place . A special thank you Samantha York for leading the PSU Social Work Plus Club fundraising efforts and for her kind words which brought great comfort to this grieving mother.
