George and Carolyn Laiblin from Lake Tapps, Wash., visited Marilyn and Merlin Colegrove. They had been to Arkansas for her aunt's funeral, Eula Mahurin Dickison, who passed away May 11. Eula has a son, Rick Mahurin, and was proceeded in death by her brother and sister-in-law Dorothy and Dallas Robertson. Nancy and Leeroy Church from Kemberling, Mo., were here visiting his brother Jerry Church. Marla and Megan Kichler was in Topeka last week where Megan competed in the State Barrel Racing Contest. She placed in the 3D competition. The city was the winner in the silent auction in St. Paul for three pieces of playground equipment. They will have to be removed in 30 days. We are excited about getting more items for the park. The City will get teeter-totters, the horse swings, and the horse merry-go-round. These will be placed in the park next to the Methodist church. Any volunteers would be helpful.
