Regarding the closing of Joplin street — if the Commission votes for a public election, what would the cost be to the city (taxpayers) if the election occurs?

Dear Editor

Regarding the closing of Joplin street — if the Commission votes for a public election, what would the cost be to the city (taxpayers) if the election occurs?

The weather forecast predicts very bad weather with snow and possibly ice (no paper on Monday) and many persons would be unable to attend.

Would it be possible to delay the decision until the next Commission Meeting? Please answer the question.
