  • Area law enforcement agencies executed a narcotics search warrant at 604 N. Grand in Pittsburg on Tuesday morning, resulting in the arrests of 32-year-old Billy Lee White and 33-year-old Disty Lynn Long.

  • Area law enforcement agencies executed a narcotics search warrant at 604 N. Grand in Pittsburg on Tuesday morning, resulting in the arrests of 32-year-old Billy Lee White and 33-year-old Disty Lynn Long.
    The Pittsburg Police Department, Crawford County Sheriff’s Office and Kansas Bureau of Investigations Southeast Kansas Drug Enforcement Task Force searched the residence and located evidence presumed to be related to manufacturing a controlled substance and possessing controlled substances.
    Items found are presumed to include methamphetamine, anhydrous ammonia, ephedrine, felony drug paraphernalia, marijuana and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia.
    White and Long were booked into the Crawford County Jail and charged with manufacturing a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of methamphetamine, possession of ephedrine with intent to manufacture, possession of anhydrous ammonia, possession of felony drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of misdemeanor drug paraphernalia.
    Officials say the investigation is ongoing with more arrests expected in the case.
