  • Carolyn F. Hosman, 67, of Arma, dieda at 5:30 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2013, at her home.
    Mrs. Hosman was born Oct. 30, 1945, at Pittsburg, Kan., the daughter of Harold and Pauline Zetko Fouts. Carolyn was a retired executive secretary for Skelley Oil Company in Kansas City, Mo. She also was secretary at the Arma High School and volunteered at the Salvation Army in day care. She was raised at Arma and graduated from Arma High School and was a member of the National Honor Society. She later attended Pittsburg State University and Metro Junior College at Kansas City, Mo., and majored in psychology and art. She was of the Methodist Faith, was a Rainbow Girl and Girl Scout. She lived in Wichita for 20 years prior to moving to Arma in 1993 and she and her husband traveled frequently. She married Richard L. Hosman on Dec. 4, 1964, at Pittsburg, Kan. Mr. Hosman survives at the home. Survivors include her husband Richard of the home; and two sisters, Delores Colvin of Lansing, Mich., and Judy S. Lenne of Franklin. She was preceded in death by her parents.
    Mrs. Hosman has been cremated according to her wishes. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2013, at the Bedene Funeral Home at Arma with the Pastor Doug Kreighbaum officiating. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date at the Pittsburg Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family suggests donations to the Angels Among Us. Donations may be sent to or left at the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma KS 66712.
