A Pittsburg man was arrested on several counts after a search warrant was undertaken at his home.
Kevin Jesse Crawford, 46, is out on a $19,000 bond after being charged with five counts.
Crawford was charged with the following counts: Distribution of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of endangerment of a child. Two “grade-school aged” children were found at the scene, said Lt. Henry Krantz with the Pittsburg Police Department.
Monday night at 11:25 p.m., Crawford County Drug Task Force, Pittsburg Police Department and the Community Narcotics Enforcement Team performed a search warrant at Crawford’s home, at 313 E. Eighth St. in Pittsburg.
An undisclosed amount of suspected cocaine and drug items were seized. The items have been sent in for weighing and testing.
“This is the result of good information and a good investigation,” Krantz said. “With good work, every once in a while we’ll get these guys.”
