Lyman and Helen (Ross) Kastelic recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 23, 2009. The couple are originally from Kansas, they bought a farm on Cubbison Road in Cumberland, where they still reside. Mrs. Kastelic is a former employee of March Electric and Essex Wire. Mr. Kastelic served two years in Beijing and Nanking, China, during the Chinese Civil War. He retired from Central Ohio Coal Co., having served 41 years operating various machines. He also retired from operating the Big Muskie. The couple have owned and operated for more than 15 years the small book store located in Country Bits and Pieces in downtown Cambridge. They have seven children, John and Sarah Billet both of Cambridge, Charles Kastelic, Cumberland, Faye Fulper, Cumberland, Mary Wetzler, Byesville, Anna Childers, Cumberland, and Jim Kastelic, Cambridge. Completing the family circle are nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
