This letter is about whether you think your vote will count in the upcoming presidential election. The answer is a resounding yes! If you, as a registered voter, fail to go to the polls and cast your vote then you are still voting for the status quo. In other words, you do not wish to change anything. I cannot fathom anyone, with any common sense at all, not wanting to make some changes in the way the problems are being handled by our elected officials in our government. What we have is gridlock, and with that going on the two parties cannot agree on any way to get the affairs of our country going right again. Gridlock is the most stupid, asinine thing that is taking place in our government right now. Our President and Congress are not overly concerned about the damage they are doing to our country. They can only think about getting re-elected right now and the affairs of government be hanged. They all packed up and are on a five weeks vacation at this time. I bet all the people who are unemployed, and with very little hope of finding a job could join them on some sandy beach out in the tropics. Now wouldn’t that be nice? See you at the polls in November in great numbers
