FORT SCOTT — Fort Scott Community College will offer a prospective student seminar from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. June 5 in Bailey Hall on the main campus in Fort Scott.

The seminar will provide prospective students with information about applying to FSCC, financial aid, tuition, advising, student success resources, free tutoring, transfer options and more.

"All attendees will be put into a drawing for scholarships and a free lunch will be provided by Student Services," said Russ Souza, student success coordinator.

He said that FSCC is one of the most affordable colleges in the area, and offers a diverse selection of degrees and certificate programs such as nursing, associate of science and arts, cosmetology, agriculture, construction trades, John Deere, HVAC, truck driving, Harley-Davidson and more.
