On Tuesday morning, August 5, 2014, officers responded to Broadway Productions, 216 S. Broadway, for a report of a break-in. The burglary occurred the night before, where numerous smoking devices were stolen.
Through the course of the investigation, officers later located two juveniles on Tuesday night, riding bicycles in the 100 block of W. 6th street. The two males were previously observed by law enforcement on Monday night, August 4th, in the vicinity of Broadway Productions. They were questioned about the Broadway Productions break-in, resulting in the recovery of some of the stolen property. Officers also located Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia in their possession.
The two juveniles, ages 13 and 14 were arrested and transported to the Pittsburg Police Department, where they were screened by Juvenile Intake Authorities. They were later released back to the custody of their parents and are awaiting a court appearance on Burglary and Drug charges.
