PITTSBURG — Charles Dixon, 23, waived his preliminary hearing for aggravated robbery with a handgun at Crawford County Judicial Center on Wednesday.
He would go on to plead no contest to aggravated robbery for an incident on March 2, 2015, where Dixon and Ke’andre Seals, 20, allegedly forced their way into a home at 2107 Timber Lane in Pittsburg.
The home was occupied by a minor.
Dixon and Seals, who had a continuance at his sentencing earlier Wednesday, allegedly stole a 9mm Ruger P95, two magazines for the handgun, two cell phones, Beats headphones and a safe.
As part of a plea agreement, two counts of aggravated battery and one count of using a cell phone for a drug transaction were dismissed.
The state also dismissed an aggravated battery charge from a case on June 1, 2015, where Dixon allegedly fractured the orbital socket of another person.
His bond was set at $150,000. His sentencing will be March 9 at 1:30 p.m. Dixon is facing up to 247 months in prison.
Seals previously posted bond for the March 2 incident.
