PITTSBURG — A Pittsburg man was arrested on drug and weapons charges following a traffic stop late Wednesday evening.
According to a release from the Pittsburg Police Department, at about 10:55 p.m. Wednesday, officers stopped Steven M. Taylor Jr., 26, for “an observed equipment violation.”
During the stop, officers alleged discovered a handgun and items believed to be methamphetamine, marijuana and related drug paraphernalia.
Taylor was arrested without incident and taken to the Crawford County Jail on charges felon in possession of a firearm, felony possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. Taylor is free on $7,500 bond.
