GIRARD — The Crawford County Commission appointed two people to the Planning and Zoning Board at Tuesday’s meeting.

Kathy Flora and Gary Edwards were both appointed to three year terms on the board which advises the commission on zoning issues.

The commission also tabled action on a proposed development on the 3300 block of East 20th by JEB Developers LLC, pending clarification on legal matters. It is expected to again be on the agenda Friday.

Commissioners were also given a report on year-end fund balances and carry overs.

According to Crawford County Clerk Don Pyle, the county has a current cash balance in the general fund of $433,855. Budgeted carryover was $304,861, leaving a cash fund balance of $128,994 and available budget balance of $215,066.

Other funds were liquid as well, Pyle said.

The commission will next meet 10 a.m., Friday, in the commission chambers in the Crawford County Courthouse in Girard.
