Frist responders are joining with American Red Cross for the annual Pittsburg Battle of the Badges blood drive. Donors can go to Countryside Christian Church, 1901 E. 4th, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 

Liberal Ladies Who Lunch

The group will meet at the Public Library at noon. Bring your own lunch and any topics you wish to discuss. Any woman interested in progressive issues is welcome to attend.

 

Chicopee cards

The Chicopee Card Games will meet from 12:30-3:30 p.m. at the Chicopee community center.

 

Elk's Lodge Bingo

Bingo will be held at the Elk's Lodge, 2312 W. 4th in Pittsburg, starting at 6:15 with mini games. It will be followed by regular games at 6:30. Super progressive and blackout progressive will be played and Bingo event tickets and pull tabs also are available.

 

Weight Watchers

Pittsburg Noon Kiwanis

The Pittsburg Noon Kiwanis meets every Thursday at noon in the dePaul Hall at Via Christi Hospital. John Eastman, tech coordinator for the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts, will be providing a an update of the center and upcoming events.

The library will have a computer class from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be time for questions.

The library will hold a session of Coloring for Adults from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Pencils, pens, and coloring sheets, including Valentine Day cards will be provided, although participants may bring their own if they choose. TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) 0884 meetings are held each Thursday at Knights of Columbus Towers, 700 N. Pine. Private weigh-ins begin at 9 a.m. Business meeting starts at 9:30 a.m. Each week, a program is presented for support and motivation for members to reach and maintain their weight-loss goals. Frontenac American Legion conducts bingo games every Thursday evening at the Frontenac Senior Citizen Center located at 113 N. Crawford in Frontenac. Cards go on sale at 5:30 p.m. and play begins at 6:30 p.m.
