GIRARD — The Crawford County Commission approved a lease-purchase agreement for a new police car at Tuesday’s meeting.
The new Dodge was actually approved in 2015, commissioners were told, but delays in delivery have slowed the finalization of the deal. The car cost about $40,000 and the county will pay an interest rate of 1.68 percent.
The commission also approved the consent agenda, including:
A tax roll correction due to an error in assessing the value of a heavy truck owned by Chanc Shanholter.
Approving the transfer of $15,000 from the general fund to the risk management fund, and:
Approving cancellation of a county credit card through Girard National Bank for Tom Ragonese and applying for a new one for Maintenance Supervisor Robert Gorentz.
The commission will next meet at 10 a.m. Friday in the commission chambers in the Crawford County Courthouse in Girard.
