Five ways to have fun this weekend.

1. Continuing his “legendary adventures of awesomeness,” Po (voiced by Jack Black) must face two hugely epic, but different threats in “Kung Fu Panda 3.” When Po’s long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of new panda characters. But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible: learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas.

2. Jan. 29 is National Puzzle Day so break out a jigsaw, crossword or maze. There are tons of fun ways children and adults can celebrate this special day. Puzzle play is a great way to develop dexterity, hand-eye coordination and motor skills, and recent studies show that solving puzzles every day can reduce the risk of neurodegenerative diseases, improve cognitive function and ward off memory loss.

3. There’s no rule against comedy in the cubicle. Friday, Jan. 29 is National Fun at Work Day. It’s a great reminder of the value of laughter and camaraderie in the workplace. You may do serious work, but you can still have fun. Decorate your workspace, prank a colleague, share a joke or plan a themed office celebration such as an ice cream sundae party.

4. Tune in to see the stars being recognized for outstanding work in film and television during the Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony. Comedic trailblazer Carol Burnett will be honored with the SAG Life Achievement Award when the show is simulcast live on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. ET Saturday, Jan. 30.

5. Wake up and head straight to your local bakery. Saturday, Jan. 30 is National Croissant Day! Enjoy one served warm with jam, a savory treat filled with ham and cheese or splurge for a croissant filled with chocolate.
