Cherokee Senior Citizens
The Cherokee Senior Citizens will meet at 11:30 a.m. at the Cherokee Community Building. Election of officers will be held during the business meeting. FAC Extension Agent Chuckie Hessong will speak to the group about an exercises program. A lunch of spaghetti will be served at noon. All attending should bring a side dish or dessert. All Cherokee seniors 55 and over are welcome to attend.
United Mine Workers of America
The monthly meeting of United Mine Workers of America, District 12, Local 14 will be held at 1 p.m. at the Homer Cole Community Center, 30003 N. Joplin, Pittsburg.
TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) 0884 meetings are held each Thursday at Knights of Columbus Towers, 700 N. Pine. Private weigh-ins begin at 9 a.m. Business meeting starts at 9:30 a.m. Each week, a program is presented for support and motivation for members to reach and maintain their weight-loss goals. Frontenac American Legion Bingo
Frontenac American Legion conducts bingo games every Thursday evening at the Frontenac Senior Citizen Center located at 113 N. Crawford in Frontenac. Cards go on sale at 5:30 p.m. and play begins at 6:30 p.m.
Pittsburg Noon Kiwanis
The Pittsburg Noon Kiwanis meets every Thursday at noon in the dePaul Hall at Via Christi Hospital.

Pittsburg American Legion Bingo
The Pittsburg American Legion will host bingo every Friday at the legion home. Doors open at 5 p.m. Early bird games are at 6:20 p.m. and regular bingo is at 6:30 p.m.
Senior Citizens Club
The Senior Citizens Club will meet at Lincoln Center. For more information, call Pittsburg Parks and Recreation. Anyone ages 50 and older are invited to attend club meetings. Dues are $0.50 per meeting. Bingo is $0.25 per card. Anyone is welcome and not required to attend all meetings. For more information, call the Parks and Recreation's office at 231-8310.

Zone 6 Gardeners of Pittsburg
The group will first tour the garden of John and Bea Martel, 2307 S. Homer at 6:30. Then we will travel to the garden of Karen Bowen, 996 S. 260th St, refreshments and meeting to follow. Please bring a chair, bring a friend, all are welcome.
