Pittsburg American Legion Bingo
The Pittsburg American Legion will host bingo every Friday at the legion home. Doors open at 5 p.m. Early bird games are at 6:20 p.m. and regular bingo is at 6:30 p.m.
Colton’s Steakhouse is hosting Blarney Breakfast for St. Patrick’s Day. The breakfast will take place Friday from 6 to 9:30 a.m. A breakfast ticket is $10 for adults, $5 children ages three to 10. All proceeds benefit the United Way of Southeast Kansas.
Pittsburg Parks and Recreation is hosting a Shamrock Shuffle 5k and Leprechaun Lap 1k Friday at 6 p.m. Registration fee is $30 for the shuffle, $17 for the lap. Fees include access to children’s games, face painting and more. Both events take place at Lincoln Park.
Knights of Columbus Fish Fry
The Pittsburg Knights of Columbus host a fish fry every Friday during Lent. Dinner takes place from 5 to 7 p.m. at Knight’s Hall in Pittsburg. Proceeds from March 17 will benefit the St. Mary’s Colgan Youth Fund.

Meet your legislators
The Pittsburg Public Library will hold a “Meet Your Legislators” program on Saturday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. State Representatives Adam Lusker and Monica Murnan, as well as State Senator Jacob LaTurner have been invited to give updates on the current legislative session and answer questions from the audience. The program is free and open to the public.
Pittsburg American Legion
The American Legion, 2815 N. Joplin, hosts a noon feed for veterans on the third Saturday of every month. Additionally, an accredited veterans service officer with the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 317 and sponsored by American Legion Post 64 Pittsburg will be present beginning at 8:30 a.m. Please call 620-231-2240 to make an appointment.

The Chicopee Foundation will hosts its annual meeting at 5 p.m. in the chapel of the Chicopee Community Center. Following the meeting, the foundation will provide a chicken dinner in the basement hall. All members are encouraged to attend.
