PITTSBURG — A Pittsburg woman was arrested Wednesday on burglary charges.
According to a release from the Pittsburg Police Department, officers were called Tuesday to Countryside Self Storage, 1800 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, in reference to a report of a burglary to one of the storage units there. The victim reported several items of property missing from his storage unit, which had been forcibly entered.
On Wednesday Crawford County Sheriff's deputies and PPD officers served a search warrant at a residence in rural Pittsburg, located at 1242 E. 530 Ave., for items of property relating to the storage unit burglary. At least one item of the alleged victim’s property was recovered during the search.
Victoria Renea Baird, 30, of Pittsburg, was arrested without incident for her alleged involvement in the burglary at Countryside Self Storage, and taken to the Crawford County Jail on allegations of felony burglary of a non-dwelling, felony theft and misdemeanor criminal damage. She has been released on $5,000 bond.
