Attorney Tom Hayes has joined the law firm Wallace Saunders — “a regional powerhouse with offices in Kansas City, Topeka, Springfield and Wichita” and more than 50 lawyers, according to a press release — to establish a presence in Pittsburg, the firm announced Monday.
“Today, Tom and his new firm look forward to providing full service legal resources to individuals and companies located in Pittsburg and across southeast Kansas,” according to the release. “Having tried and mediated over 100 civil cases throughout his career, Tom is uniquely qualified to serve as a neutral mediator or arbitrator in pending court cases.”
Hayes “knows the people and businesses who live and work in the area surrounded by our offices,” Wallace Saunders managing partner Kevin Weakley said in the release. “He is an outstanding lawyer and his presence in Pittsburg will help us expand Wallace Saunders’s delivery of a wide array of legal services in a convenient and cost-efficient way.”
The release also notes that Hayes “remains engaged in numerous local projects, including renovation of the student center at St. Pius, the Pittsburg YMCA, and Our Lady of Lourdes.”
