Bethanie Boley, BSN, of Arma, has been named Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas’ Northern Regional Nursing Director, CHC/SEK has announced.

She will be overseeing the CHC/SEK’s Fort Scott Walk-In Care, Fort Scott Main Clinic, Iola, Pleasanton, and Mound City Clinics.

CHC/SEK encompasses a geographical service area of more than 5000 sq. miles, and employs more than 146 RNs, LPNs, medical assistants, and medical scribes. To undertake a more comprehensive approach to their supervision, education, and development, the organization recently designated three regions with a regional director of nursing overseeing each area.

Boley received her BSN degree from Pittsburg State University in 2004. She has worked in numerous nursing areas throughout her career, including long-term care and hospice, and was most recently a director of clinical services for Compassus Hospice in Joplin. She said in a press release that she is excited to be joining CHC/SEK.

"What the organization brings to so many communities is truly awe-inspiring," Boley said. "CHC/SEK has made such a positive impact for so many patients, some of which, without CHC, wouldn’t have had access to healthcare at all. That’s huge, and something I wanted to be a part of."
