GIRARD — The Girard Boys’ Track team captured the Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee League Boys’ Track Championship after the results of the CNC league meet at Girard on Thursday. St. Mary’s-Colgan Girl’s team took the CNC Girls’ title.

Colgan’s Lily Myers won the medal in the Girls' 1600m Run. Aubri Piccini grabbed first in the Long Jump and Triple Jump.

Girard’s Rachel Stephans grabbed first in the Girls’ 100m, 200m and 300m dash at the meet. Stephans also came in first in the 100m and 300m hurdles. Teammate Kenzie Coester won the High Jump and Emma Kerr came in first in the Pole Vault.

Frontenac’s Jessica Peterson came in first in the 800m and 3200m Girl's Run. Lauren Harper came in first in the Shot Put and Autumn Bryant finished first in the Discus Throw.

Girard’s Carter Doherty finished first in the Boys' Shot Put and Discus Throw.

Colgan’s Max Wilson took first place in the Boys’ 100m and 200m Dash and Javelin Throw.

Kash Marietta won the Boys' 300m Hurdles and Frontenac’s Brendan Ishimura won the medal in the 400 meter Run.
