It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Christopher Arthur Lee Bledsoe, age 41, of Pittsburg, Kansas. Christopher passed away on Nov. 1, 2024, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO. He was born on Jan. 11, 1983, in Joplin, to Arthur Lee and Camille Ellen (Seward) Bledsoe.
Christopher attended Southeast High School and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church. He worked as a signal installer for S&S Electric and CDL Electric, among other positions. He was proud to be the “C” in CDL Electric. Known for his kindness and generosity, he left behind countless friends and never met a stranger. An avid New England Patriots fan, Christopher also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and storm chasing.
He is survived by his son, Christian Arthur Lee Bledsoe of Pittsburg, KS; father, Arthur Lee Bledsoe and wife Vicki of Pittsburg, sister, Madeline “Maddie” Ellis of Springfield, MO, his maternal grandmother, Eva E. Seward of Pittsburg, KS, paternal grandmother; Darlene Bledsoe of Pittsburg; grandmother Kay Orlando; uncle, Larry Seward Jr. of Pittsburg; aunt, Rhonda Bledsoe of Pittsburg; cousins, Keesha Harvey and husband Rocky, Vanessa Seward, Dustin Seward, Larry Seward III, and many other family members and friends.
Christopher was preceded in death by his mother, Camille Seward; maternal grandfather, Larry Seward Sr.; paternal grandfather, Hollis Bledsoe; and his faithful companion, his dog Apollo.

Private Services will take place at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home with Pastor Daryl Gaddy officiating and burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024, at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS. Friends may call after 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
