Craig W. Potter, 63, of Pittsburg, died on Oct. 24, 2022, at his home.
He was born Sept. 13, 1959, in Fort Scott, the son of Sherman E. and Wilma Jean (Foss) Potter.
After graduating high school, Craig earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Pittsburg State University. He went on to pursue a job at the Parsons State Hospital as a Mental Health Technician.
Craig is survived by two sons, Seth J. Potter and his wife Stephanie, with a baby girl on the way, and Jordan L. Potter of Arma and his significant other Kathy Jo Wofford of Parsons; a brother, Roger A. Potter of Valley Center, Kansas; and a sister, Carol Dumford of Wichita.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
The family would like to thank his significant other, Kathy, and his caregiver, Arlene Wesley, along with the Harry Hines Hospice team, for their amazing care.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022, at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, Pittsburg.
