Linda K. Carpino, 73, of Arma, Kansas, died at 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022, in her home.
Ms. Carpino was born June 1, 1949, in Pittsburg, Kansas, the daughter of Tony and Angie Arabia Carpino. Linda was a hairdresser who lived in Arma most of her life. She was raised in Arma and graduated from Northeast High School in the Class of 1967. She later attended cosmetology school at Pittsburg State University. Linda was a Pink Lady at Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, a member of the Arma-Northeast Alumni Association and the Arma Homecoming Association, and was active in community service. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and the St. Ann's Altar Society.
Survivors include her mother, Angie of the home, and her extended family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tony Carpino.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Arma, Kansas, with Father Andrew Seiler as the celebrant. Burial will be at the Pittsburg Garden of Memories Cemetery. Rosary will be said at 10:30 a.m. Monday prior to the Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Bedene Funeral Home in Arma. The family suggests memorials to the St. Ann's Altar Society or the Arma-Northeast Alumni Association.
