The championships just keep on coming for Cailie Logue.
Logue, a senior at Iowa State, won the 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters at last weekend's Big 12 Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Norman, Okla.
Her times were 34 minutes, 28.86 seconds in the 10K and a facility-record 15:50.60 in the 5K. Logue became the first in Big 12 history to sweep the 5K and 10K three times and the only Big 12 women's runner to win three outdoor 5K titles.
Logue, a graduate of Girard High School, has a school-record 13 Big 12 titles -- three in cross country, four indoors and six outdoors.
Logue's 20 points tied for second place for the High Point Trophy as she led the Cyclones to a third-place finish and 107.5 points -- their highest finish and point total in a Big 12 meet. Their previous bests were a fourth place and 89 points.
Next up for Logue and the Cyclones is the NCAA West Preliminaries on May 24-27 in Sacramento, Calif.
