Roger E. Jameson

Roger E. Jameson, 64, of Frontenac, Kansas died Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022 at his home. 

Mr. Jameson was born July 11, 1958 at Pittsburg, Kansas the son of Charles M. and Wilma N. Geier Jameson. Roger was a retired plumber-pipefitter for the Plumber-Pipefitter Local Union #664 at Frontenac. He also was past business manager for the union. 

He was raised in Pittsburg and graduated from Southeast High School in Cherokee, class of 1976. He later attended Pittsburg State University and graduated from the Vocational Department. He lived in the Pittsburg-Frontenac area most of his life. He loved spending time with friends and family. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, camping, and was a NASCAR fan. He was a member of the Cherokee Gun Club. He married Lisa M. Chisler on May 27, 2001 at Timmons Chapel at Pittsburg State University. Mrs. Jameson preceded him in death June 20, 2020. 

Survivors include a daughter, Tera Jameson of Pittsburg, a son, Jerad Jameson of Pittsburg, two brothers, Calvin Jameson of rural McCune and Ronald (Tina) Jameson of rural West Mineral, three sisters, Amy Amershek of Radley, Janet (Dennis) Rhuems of Frontenac, and Suzi Johnson of Frontenac, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lisa, and two brothers, Steve and Edward Jameson. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022 at Pallucca Event Center, 207 E. McKay St. in Frontenac, Kansas. Mr. Jameson has been cremated according to his wishes. The family suggests memorials to the Southeast Kansas Humane Society. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma, KS 66712.
