Bonnie June Beitzinger, 84, of Pittsburg, KS died at 4:43 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2023, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.
She was born June 1, 1939, in Pittsburg, KS the daughter of Frank and Rena (Righi) Cabodie. She was a graduate of Frontenac High School.
On June 27, 1959, Bonnie married Robert Beitzinger; he preceded her in death on February 20, 1980.
Bonnie worked as an exterminator for Interstate Inc. Exterminator for many years. She also worked as a housekeeper. She loved spending time with family, her grandkids and great-grandkids were her pride and joy. She enjoyed baking pies for church dinners and bowling with friends and family.
She is survived by her son, Robert (Sherri) Beitzinger of Pittsburg, KS; daughter, Cynthia of Pittsburg, KS; brother, Frank (Thelma) Cabodie of Ferndale, WA; two grandchildren, Colton Beitzinger of Raytown, MO, Ashley (Duane) Gaylord of Pittsburg, KS; two great-grandchildren, Addisynn Marrone and Brendan Gaylord.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, John Cabodie; and two sisters, Gloria Nahon and Darlene Johnson.
Graveside Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg, KS. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg, KS; friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy to be in the form of memorials to the SEK Humane Society.
