Margaret Betty Wood, 98, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away on September 27, 2023, at Via Christi Village in Pittsburg, Kansas.
Margaret was born on March 7, 1925, to John and Agnes (Neputi) Mingori in Weir. On June 7, 1946, she was united in marriage to Harold Eugene Wood in Columbus, Kansas.
Margaret was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing, reading, painting and most of all being with her family and visiting her friends.
She is survived by a daughter, Diana K. Wood of Pittsburg, KS; a son, Dennis Wood and his wife Futaba of Vacaville, CA; a granddaughter, Hanako Dale Wood and her husband, Cooper Scollan; and a great-grandson, Ryland Eugene Scollan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother, John Dale Neputi.
A Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 5, at the Brenner Mortuary. Burial will be in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
