Pittsburg girls win first place at CJ Invitational
The Pittsburg girls golf squad shot a 398 to win top team honors Monday in the Carl Junction Invitational at Briarbrook Country Club. Jacqueline Hall shot 95 overall, 47 on the front and 48 on the back-9, and finished third place. Alyssa Cosens shot 96 (47/49) and placed fourth. Macy Farrington’s 103 and Ava Steier’s 104 rounded out the Dragons’ 398 team score. Pittsburg returns to the course Wednesday for the Parsons tournament at the Katy Golf Course.
