Carrie Lynn Charles, 76, died at Huger Mercy Living Center in Phoenix Arizona, Friday, March 1st.
Carrie was born on July 14, 1947, in Pittsburg to the late Hubert and Carrie Morgan.
Carrie attended primary school in Pittsburg and high school at Wichita West High School. She received her Bachelor's in Education and Master's of Education at Pittsburg State University. She devoted her career to helping students with special needs for over 20 years. She retired from the Southeast Interlocal #637 in 2013 and moved to Phoenix, Arizona to be closer to her daughter.
Carrie enjoyed doing anything crafty and could often be found working on card and jewelry projects. She also loved family outings with her sisters, nieces, and daughter.
She is preceded in death by sisters Waynith Billionis, Mary Lou Thomas, Kathleen Hood, Joyce Wilson, and brother Harold Morgan.
She is survived by her daughter Amanda Stetson and husband Matthew, and her brother Jack Morgan.
A celebration of life will be held at PittNaz church in Pittsburg, Kansas on April 6th at 1 p.m.
