At the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) annual conference, Watco Executive Chairman Rick Webb was inducted into the group’s Short Line Hall of Fame. But the accolades didn’t stop there. At the same meeting, Watco team member Sam Pederson was named Safety Person of the Year, the company received the Veterans Engagement Award, the Business Development Award (for its Mission Mountain Railroad), and an honorable mention for Short Line Railroad of the Year (for its Eastern Idaho Railroad).
