The State Board of Indigents Defense Services (SBIDS) is hosting a public forum this weekend at the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts in Pittsburg to consider the possibility of opening a public defenders’ office for the 11th Judicial District, which services Crawford, Labette, and Cherokee counties.
