Curo Group: Q2 Earnings Snapshot

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ Curo Group Holdings Corp. (CURO) on Monday reported a second-quarter loss of $26.1 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Wichita, Kansas-based company said it had a loss of 65 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for stock option expense and amortization costs, came to 28 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 30 cents per share.

The consumer finance company posted revenue of $304.4 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $244.1 million.
