Erlene K. Wright, 88, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away on March 29, 2024, at Via Christi Village, Pittsburg, KS.
Erlene was born on March 5, 1936, to Charles Joseph and Myrtle Mae (Byers) Smith in Versailles, MO. She attended schools in Kansas City and graduated from Baldwin High School in Baldwin, KS.
She married Lynn Wright on March 5, 1976, in Parsons, KS. He preceded her in death on February 27, 2004.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Charles Smith, John Smith, and Eugene Smith, and two sisters, Rita Haley and Myrtle Nieman.
According to Erlene's wishes she has been cremated and will be buried next to her husband at Ft. Scott National Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
